Activity Breaks
Le Verger is a good base for a number of exciting outdoor leisure activities. From Wambercourt it’s a short drive to a number of high calibre non-member golf courses. Some of these are extremely picturesque and most are a lot less busy than courses in the UK.
Le Touquet (45 minutes by car) is a renowned location for beach and watersports, including sand yachting, kite surfing and windsurfing. La Planquette, the river that runs through Wambercourt, has a centre for kayaking.
The countryside immediately surrounding the house has some brilliant scenic routes for walking and cycling. The nearby village of Brimeux is surrounded by a number of scenic lakes, which are an excellent spot for fishing, particularly trout fishing.
